Calm cartoons for kids, made on purpose.
Cala Luna is a gentle animated series for ages 5–9. Here is what we do to keep every episode slow, warm and easy to watch, and what we don’t claim.
Five things we do in every episode.
A slow camera
The camera moves slowly and gently, so there is time to take in each scene.
Soft colours
Warm, soft Mediterranean colours rather than bright, loud ones.
Nothing flashing
No flashing lights and no frantic pacing.
Quiet music
Soft music sits under the dialogue, so voices stay easy to hear.
One idea, seven minutes
Each episode is about seven minutes and teaches one idea, built into the story.
Watch the first episode together.
If your child is sensitive to loud sounds, fast cuts or flashing, a calmer show can be easier to watch. Every child is different, so the best test is to watch Episode 1 together and see how it goes. You can pause at any point; episodes are short and nothing is lost.
What we don’t claim
Cala Luna is entertainment and education for families. It is not a medical or therapeutic product, and we don’t claim it treats, helps or is designed for any condition. If you have questions about your child’s needs, a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist or your child’s teacher can advise you.
Four easy ways to watch together.
Pick a quiet moment
Choose a time that is not rushed, with the volume set to a level that suits your child.
Watch the first one together
You will see straight away how your child reacts, and you can talk about it as you go.
Use the activity sheet afterwards
Each episode has a free “Talk about it” activity sheet with one question and one 10-minute activity.
Stop whenever you like
Short episodes and no cliffhangers to chase, so stopping is easy.
