Privacy notice

We collect as little as we can. Here is exactly what, why, and who sees it.

Who we are

This site is run by Oleksandr Prykhodko, trading as Little Lynx Studios. Personalised cartoons and songs are sold by Instalacarte LLP (registered in England and Wales, company no. OC430740, registered office: 32 Kinburn Street, London, England, SE16 6DW), which is responsible for order information. Contact for everything on this page: hello@calalunakids.com.

Email sign-up

If you sign up, we collect the email address you give us and use it only to send new activity sheets and news of new episodes. Our legal basis is your consent, which you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to us; we then delete your address from our list. Our email service is MailerLite, an EU-based provider, which stores your address on our behalf and loads a small script on this site to show the sign-up form. We never sell or share your email address.

Personalised cartoon and song orders

When you order a personalised cartoon or song, you give us: your email address and country; your child's first name or nickname, age and how to refer to them; the look you choose for the cartoon hero (hair, skin tone, glasses, favourite colour and thing); the moment you describe, who is there, the step to try and words to avoid; and, only if you choose to share it, how we should adapt the pace and wording (for example for an autistic, anxious or ADHD child). That last item is information about your child's health, so we only use it with your explicit consent, which you give at checkout.

We use these details only to make, deliver and, if needed, fix your episode, and to deal with payment and support. Our legal basis is the contract with you, plus your explicit consent for anything about your child's needs. Orders are made by a parent or carer, not by children. If you choose to add a photo of your child, we use it only to draw the cartoon hero, never show or publish it, and delete it once the hero is drawn. Choosing to add a photo is your explicit consent to that one use.

Who sees order details

  • Cloudflare hosts this site and stores your order securely.
  • Stripe processes your payment. It receives your email address, payment details and an order number, not your child's details.
  • Higgsfield, the AI drawing and animation tool we use, receives a written description of the cartoon hero and the story, and the photo if you added one, for the drawing step only. It never receives your email address.
  • Our email provider carries the email that delivers your episode.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, under their own data-protection terms.

How long we keep it

Order details are deleted automatically 180 days after you order. We keep the finished episode for up to 180 days, so we can resend or fix it, then delete our copy. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as financial law requires.

The free games

The games run in your browser, with no accounts and no ads, and nothing about your child is sent to us. Ask Chispa keeps a small count of facts checked in your own browser. During checkout this site keeps your order number in the browser tab until you reach the thank-you page.

The website

Cloudflare processes basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. Episodes are hosted on YouTube; when you follow a link to YouTube, Google's privacy policy applies there. There are no accounts and no advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@calalunakids.com. If you're in the UK and unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
